Need a New Handbag?

If you’re a regular follow of my blog, or even my Instagram- you’ll know how much I love my bag! I do probably feature it in at least half of my outfit posts, but I should probably start looking around for a second bag I love just as much! So I thought today’s guest post would be perfect for all of those like me lusting over a new designer bag. The Tommy Hilfiger clutch below is possibly my favourite; its £120 and I am sure I would use this for almost every night out! In terms of day time bags I'm just in total love with the Ted Baker bowler handbag with leather detailing- that’s perfection!

High street it bags for autumn/winter13
As every fashion fan knows, the change of season signals a wardrobe update, with summer's shorts and dresses replaced by trusty black opaque tights and slouchy knitwear as soon as the temperature starts to drop. However, your new look would simply not be complete without a brand new piece of arm candy, so check out the pick of the It bags of the season then shop for handbags at Very.co.uk

The Winged Tote
Proving to be a firm favourite among celebrities from Jessica Alba to Reese Witherspoon, this twist on the traditional tote bag is set to be a big hit on the high street this season. Roomy enough to fit all your winter beauty essentials and everyday gadgets, a winged tote bag lends instant ladylike style to your look.

The Rucksack
The perfect balance of style and practicality, laid-back bags have never looked so good. Available across in a range of shapes, textiles and patterns, the rucksack is the sensible sartorial choice. Recently seen slung across the back of model Cara Delevingne, this classic style is a strong contender for the season's most popular It bag.

The Satchel
Yours might not be brimming with textbooks and pencils, but there's no doubting the satchel's style credentials for autumn/winter 2013. From vintage tan leathers to fashion forward neons and metallics, there are satchels to suit everyone's tastes.

The Clutch Bag
Those of us who like to travel light will probably prefer to have a miniature bag under our arm, whether it's clamped between our fingers or strapped across us. With just enough space for your daily essentials - keys, lipstick, cards and phone - a clutch bag is not just the handbag of choice for the evening, but is just right for everyday use too.

The Bowler Bag
Similar in shape and size to the equally drool-worthy doctor bag, the bowler bag is ideal for when you really can't slim down your handbag's contents any further. Think Mary Poppins meets A-List departure lounge style, and you're half way there. With a selection this stylish, why stick to just one?

What’s your favourite style?

  3. I like the winged tote but I prefer slouchy bags to really structured ones. I like to carry everything but the kitchen sink!
