WIN !! Pebble Grey Mirror RRP £398 & Boots Voucher worth £50!

Did you know, it has been found that British women keep their makeup up products for 6 years past its expiry date, incredible I know!

To make women more aware of this, I was contacted by Pebble Grey, who are a bathroom mirror and cabinet specialist company. Pebble Grey are trying to make women realise that even though it can be painful to part with your favourite mascara or primer, out of date products can become a breeding ground for bacteria - not what you want to be rubbing into your face! In the image above are the products I'm chucking out after years of sitting in my make up bag!

To help solve the problem Pebble Grey and Pretty Delicate Layers will be allowing one lucky winner the chance to win a brand new and exclusive bathroom cabinet worth an astonishing £398! - but on the provision that they use this as a chance to part with their 5 year old bottle of moisturiser and crusty old lipstick - and spring clean their cosmetics!  We will also offer a £50 Boots voucher to help the lucky winner restock on all their favourites (courtesy of PebbleGrey)!

Show us your spring cleaned products & #springcleanmymakeup

Pacific Life Trend & Shop² App!

PACIFIC_LIFE_SUMMER_TREND_SHOP_2_APP

Topshop’s Pacific trend looks at incorporating palm and leaf prints to turn any basic look to suit the tropical trend. This summer trend looks at bright colours, tropical prints and laid back silhouettes! When you think of the Pacific life, think sunny beaches, BBQ parties and lounging poolsides!

Add a print to any two-piece to create the perfect summary look. The shirt adds print to both outfits worn loosely over the top; one top tip is to wear the shirt unbuttoned as a throw over light weight jacket. Complete any look by adding an orange lip (very on trend!) and an oversized pair of sun glasses – perfect!

You can gain yourself 2 squares on the Shop² App using the promo code "STACEYCRAIG". The squares can then be used for discount at Topshop once built up. Check out the Shop² App HERE and add them on Facebook HERE to follow their latest activities on this developing new way of shopping on the go!

You can also find this post featured on the Shop² Blog this week!

You can also save yourself 20% off at Motel Rocks by using the promotional code “STACEYCRAIG” at the checkout!

Packing for your Summer Holidays, the Perfect Way!

thailand
The sun is officially shining! Which means this is the perfect time for me to post this, so we can all get a little summer inspiration for this amazing weather!!

It won’t be long now, before thousands of Brits will be flocking overseas for a holiday in the sun, and who can blame them? A week or two on the golden sands of somewhere warm and sunny will always be preferred over our bleak, unpredictable climes, won’t it? Of course, not all of us will be lucky enough to get away this year, but if you are one of those who have bagged a fabulous deal, you’ll be thinking about what to pack in no time at all.

When it comes to packing your suitcase, there are better systems than others. Pulling everything off the hangers and throwing them all into the suitcase may be a tempting way of packing for your holidays, but if you want to make the most out of the space you have, there are certainly better ways to do it. Whether you’re looking at your maxi dress and wondering which sandals go with it, or you’re trying to narrow down your wardrobe so that you’re not slammed with unnecessary baggage fines, here are some great snippets of advice that will ensure your suitcase is packed, in the most effective way possible.

  • Check the baggage restrictions before you begin. Know exactly how much you’re allowed so that you’re not faced with a shock once you’re at the check-in desk. Different airlines operate different regulations, with some charging for suitcases regardless of how heavy they are, so make sure you know in advance!
  • Make sure that any liquids you put in your carry-on luggage are stored in a zipped up, plastic bag. It’s far easier to ensure this is all sorted before you’re going through security rather than having your bags rummaged through.
  • Don’t over pack. Make a list of what you’d like to take and try and economise. Use clothes that can be worn more than once, such as a maxi dress from George, or strappy vest tops that can be mixed and matched.
  • Make sure that your suitcase is distinguishable. Traveling without a luggage label would be silly, especially as airlines have a habit of mislaying suitcases. If you have a suitcase that is quite common in appearance, consider adding something personalised to it, so that you can spot it amongst the sea of bags on the conveyor belt with ease.
  • Roll your clothes if you’re not planning on ironing anything once you arrive at your destination. Not only will the garments be less creased, but you’ll also be able to fit more in your suitcase.
  • If you’re travelling with more than one suitcase, consider splitting your things so that essentially, you and your family are sharing each of your suitcases. That way, if you lose one bag, you don’t lose all of your belongings.
  • Double bag your toiletries, just in case the pressure of the aircraft causes anything to leak. Plastic containers can expand in the unpressurised hold, and you don’t want your things to get damaged!
  • Weigh your suitcase before you arrive at the airport – bathroom scales are ideal and can give you an inkling as to how heavy your suitcase is in advance.
Most of all, make the most out of your well-deserved break! Be sensible about how much you take and enjoy every second of the sunshine!

I’d love to know your summer holiday plans, where is everyone jetting off to? I need to find myself a super cheap holiday too, so any suggestions are welcome :)

Some of the styles and designs I spotted at London Fashion Week were just incredible with such powerful potential. The day consisted of a lot of street style, from both taking the pictures and having my picture taken (smiling proudly). It is just amazing the types of styles you can spot at London Fashion Week, if you were a tourist that just happened to stroll into Somerset House during this fashionable week, you would most definitely feel as though you have walked into some kind of crazy, colourful, but wonderful world of extreme fashion.

As I said in my previous post I managed to meet some lovely new designers throughout the day and I can't wait to get all my ideas into an editorial shoot!

Here are some of my favourite snaps from the day!

London Fashion Week Day 4 - Street Style!

Day four of London Fashion Week involved lots of street style! I was looking for all kinds of inspiration for upcoming photo shoots for the seventh edition of Third Floor Publication. The team and I went along to Somerset House to capture street style, which will later develop into our concept boards. These were some of my favourite street style images taken on the day.

We were also sourcing clothing and accessories to feature in our shoots. The designer showrooms were amazing, full of beautiful designs and bursting with inspirational garments. I picked up lots of business cards, so I will most definitely be busy this coming week with emailing PR’s!

The Third Floor blog is back up and running this year with our first post all about London Fashion Week street style; you can find my street style images over on the Third Floor blog here.
